New in-game mechanics:
In order to enter the Great War the player has to Declare Total War at the Town Center in the Imperial Age.
GW buildings are constructed by Trucks available at the Town Center/Pa/Caravan once the GW Age is hit.
GW units are trained at their respective buildings.

Gameplay
Many performance improvements. Thanks Mandos.
Coin herdables can now be fattened at livestock pens, barns and equivalents (except Native Farms). These buildings now need to be set to food or gold in the same way as rice paddies or the fazenda. Cattle with different resource types cannot fatten at a single building at the same time.
Religion and all subordinated gameplay elements have been removed.
Only Grigory can now condemn.
Faith is now Oil.
Temple
Now trickles 0.3 XP per second and trains healers.
Cost increased to 200 wood from 150 wood.
Build time increased to 30 from 20.
AI
Asian and African AI will now train consulate units.

This humid region has plenty of resources; the players are close to each other; natives and ponds are distributed on the borders of the map.

A hill region in the Balkans. This small map is thought for early aggression.
Guajira:
A desert peninsula with a cliffy coast. Though it’s a large map, the players appear close together.
Magdalena River:
The players start in hill zones separated by a curvy river.

This alpine tundra is full of bushes but not that many trees. The lake in the centre separates the teams while the cliffs in the border keep them close.
Serra do Mar:
The coast and the central land is divided by the forestry hill zone.

Showing the variety of climates of the Sierra Madre Occidental: the players must cross the hills in order to find each other.
Sky Island:
A green temperate mountain in the middle of the desert.
Tierra de Fuego:
The players start on the shores of a fjord, the zones around have plenty of resources to exploit.

A huge central lake, the players start in a high zone in this extra large map.

Guardian attacks have been removed. All units will now use their normal attack against guardians. All bugs related to units not dealing damage to guardians have been fixed.
Sword assault cavalry units such as Cuirassiers, Black Brunswickers, Volontaire Gendarmes, Honour Guards, Husstruppen, Household Blues, Royal Dahomets and Rompelineas have had their bored, trot and gallop weapon canter animations fixed and standardised.
